CB-2000 - A Simple ModificationSubmitted by: MT
I recently purchased a CB-2000, I found the same problem that Altairboy reported. Namely, any ring large enough to allow you to insert your penis and testicles into, is large enough to allow you to extract your penis. The problem is simple the male genitalia are not shaped like an "O", they(mine at least) are much more like an ellipse with a flattened top. An O shape always leaves a gap at the top where fingers can access the penis and pull it through. But if you build something that you can't pull out of, you probably can't push yourself into it. So I decided to modify my CB-2000 and close the gap at the top of the A ring.
I started with a piece of 1/4" thick clear plastic about 3" x 3". Next I took a common white plastic plumbing pipe with a 1 1/2" diameter. I cut a piece off the pipe to give me a circle about 1/2" tall with a diameter of 1 1/2". I mounted the circle the the center of the clear plastic square by taping the bottom to the plastic. Caulk would work better, but it's a little messy. All you have to do is seal the bottom of the circle so a thick liquid won't leak out. I also drilled a hole through the clear plastic and inserted a 1" long nylon screw, just a little below the top of the circle. I taped the backside of the screw to prevent leaking as well.
So at this point I had a 3" x 3" square of plastic with a circle mounted onto it and a screw projecting through the top fourth of the circle. I then poured epoxy into the circle. When the epoxy set, I cut off the white plastic pipe, one cut through the plastic and you can peel the rest off with a screwdriver's assistance. The epoxy did not adhere well to the walls of the white plastic. The epoxy did adhere well to the clear plastic I used, I was assuming I would need the nylon screw to help hold everything together.
The next step was to cut the circle in half. This gave me two pieces of plastic 3" x 1 1/2" with a half moon shaped piece of epoxy, one of which had a nylon screw projecting through it.
Then I took an A ring and lined up the half moon of the epoxy so it would block the upper portion of the A ring and give me a flat surface facing the penis. I drilled two holes to line up with the guide pins through the clear plastic. I then sanded the clear plastic down so that no part of it extended beyond the A ring, and there was a vally in the middle to allow the locking pin of the CB-2000 to pass through. The piece ended up looking like an elongated and rounded M.
Next I started to size the needed depth of the half moon of epoxy. By sanding down the flat surface, I reduced its depth to approximately 1/4" top to bottom. For me, that was to small, I intended to coat the entire piece of epoxy with Plasti-dip anyway to keep the epoxy from contact with my skin, so by adding layers of Plasti-dip, I was able to fine tune the depth of the piece. I finally had a plug that would block exit, but it was just a bit to tight. So I sanded a very small valley in the center of the flat edge of the Plasti-dipped epoxy. It is almost imperceptable to the eye, but you can feel it. It's about 1/8" wide and runs the length of the epoxy next to the penis. That little relief improved the fit and blood flow. Certainly I didn't feel like I was causing edema.
The plug works pretty well for me, until late at night when I'm at my most flaccid and uninterested point, then I can still remove my penis, but as I'm about to sleep, I don't much care. But from a pureists viewpoint, that fact that I can get out at all irritates me.
So I'm playing with making a spike out of the nylon screw. I discovered, to my surprise, that the epoxy did not adhere to the nylon screw, but instead formed threads. So screws of various length could be inserted.
When you pull out of the CB-2000, your penis is forced upward. So I cut a upside down V shape into the clear plastic that faces the penis. My theory is that as you extract the penis, the V shape will force your penis up and into it. The narrow point of the V is centered on the hole that the nylon screw projects through. By sharpening the point of the screw you can make a spike. If this spike extends just beyound the plane of the clear plastic, it is almost always out of contact with your penis, but if you try to pull out of the CB-2000, you force your penis onto the spike.
(sigh) of course anything I build, I know how to defeat, but I won't tell you how.
So I'm left with a device, that if I work at it, I can remove my penis when I'm too tired/uninterested to get an erection anyway. That seems to be about as good as I'm going to get.
